Imperial Daze - ‘a login to SMTHNG’
Artwork, concept and campaign shots for Imperial Daze’s EP - ‘A login to SMTHNG’. Focused on the theme of escaping the digital world, each shot in the series had a before and after. The before image was used to announce the release, featuring a member of the band in a theatrically composed set. The after image, used as the artwork, showed the subject gone, leaving behind a destroyed piece of technology. We wanted the audience to feel the absence of a person in each image, implying a story to the scene that had gone before. Everything was written, built and lit by myself and the band, and shot on 35mm film.
